Paris is my great love. Not a summer passes by without me having breakfast in Jardin de Tuileries and walking along the Seine, feeling the sun on my skin and just soaking everything in. Let’s face it: Paris looks pretty much picture perfect through the eyes of a tourist. The women who passed me by on the streets intrigued me as well. Books have been written about ‘how to become a real Parisienne’. So while I was sipping my coffee on a terrace admiring those Parisian women, I couldn’t help but wonder: what are the lives of those women really like? Is it hard to live in Paris? Are they having the same struggles as me or different ones because they live in a different city? I wanted to get to know them. That’s the moment my journey began… and Women of Europe couldn’t have started anywhere else than in Paris.
